I bought a carfax and found 2 credible shops who worked in it in '14 and '17 but alas, they did not do a belt service, too bad so sad hard cheese.
PS: I dig the door sills too! They really change the look.

Most of the weekend it will be in the driveway being detailed. It's like the support group for people who were "just about to do it" or people who were "just about to buckle their seatbelt" before they were maimed in car accidents. God I wish I knew!LeiseyJr wrote:Do that T belt ASAP, looks like a very solid platform
They still are though you just gotta look around "searchallcraigslist" and then still search the individual cities around you because that doesn't catch all of them. This one was very affordable because when you get up close you can see all the little paint issues throughout the car ad lots of door dings but I'm gonna polish her up and touch-up paint some of it and call it a day for now. I downplayed the car too at first because of the BBS but I actually prefer them to the phone dials on this color car but obviously black Fuchs would have been the shit.Mike W. wrote:I was afraid you were looking at MB, VW or even Audi from the title. But a 944? Well played. Looks good. I'd thought about one for a while a decade or so ago when they were cheap and plentiful, neither of which they are now. BBS wheels?
I am very concerned about his tire choice, which sucks because they are brand new. I am on good terms with local Tire Shop so they will cut me a deal on some new ones. Hankook Ventu V2. Soft sidewall and bad wet manners. Not good in Seattle.
Don't tell anyone but I actually do like a number of affordable cars from all of those manufacturers. I had a ton of MK1/2 GLi GTi and a black MK5 GTi was on the shopping list to replace SAABrina as well. I liked SAABrina and of course gotta love a convertible but she didn't make me go WOW enough. Prolly keep her in the family, see if my nephew wants her.
Apparently someone was filming during my test drive:![]()
