Description: Selling my 1987 BMW 535is (E28). The car is very well preseved (not perfect, but reflected on price) for its age and believed to be original paint. The body and paint is in fair condition (7/10) with mostly un-noticable dings (had most removed when i purchased the car) and a few areas of wear. The interior is in fair condition, but the driver seat is torn on the bolster and the head liner has a minor tear on the rear passenger piller. The seats appeared to have been painted before I aquired the car. The dash has a few cracks (common for E28). All the Windows and sunroof are in working condition. The heater is in working condition, but the AC appears to need a recharge as it may have a leak in the system. The car will come with around ($2800) worth of new parts that I had planned on installing but didn't get around to it (a lot of regular maintenance parts).
The car is mechanically sound. The car will be sold in "as-is" condition. Price is negotiable but within reason.

sell it on BaT, the majority of 535is have gone for over $16.5k, you have very little risk and a good reward in doing so. It'll go live in ~1-2 weeks
Re: 1987 535is for Sale in LA
You'll also need more photos. For instance, you mention a rip in the driver's seat but there's not enough detail in the photos to even show that.

Yes, Bat sounds good. I feel like I will need to take a week off work to respond to everyone's comments in a timely manner and provide driving videos. Idk seem like a pretty demanding task, but may yield the highest sales price. In addition the car will need to be meticulously cleaned and prepared for the auction in order to achieve the best results. I have a full time job, kids and a wife that will make that job challenging haha. I may take it off and hold on to it if it doesn't sell in a few months.
