OT: E12 Parts

Post by JoshInAtlanta »

The new owner of my former '77 E12 will be parting it out. I sold him the shell of the car with no drivetrain. It is in pretty good shape, but the frame is done for.

Please send me a PM with an email address and I will forward it to him.

Apparently when he stripped it down to begin the restoration they discovered the frame was twisted so bad it was unrepairable. This is a real bummer to me because I put a lot of work into that car and Jim was on the right track to make it a killer ride.

I'm just trying to help him out. The car is loaded with good parts, so I don't doubt he can get his money back, since he got a good deal on it. It just sucks since it was such a well thought out project.

Front frame rails are twisted? Beyond the point of cutting off and welding on new ones? Floorpan is twisted too?
