Not sure what it runs, maybe low 11's..?
He's running 15psi.
Nebraska_e28 wrote:Any progress on the c4?
Slow progress but starting to gather parts, C4 slip yoke, diff flange, Spicer 1310 U-joints. Paul is finishing up the tranny this month.

A few updated progress pics.
I spent three hours re-aligning the head flange as none of the bolt holes lined up.
Welded a plate on the bottom to add all the vacuum lines.
Just need to drill and tap for 1/8 npt.
This is my first time welding aluminum and man you burn through a lot of rods.

That should be worth substantial HP where you want it! Great job.

I have a feeling this is going to uncork some power alittle.

That is all sorts of bad ass. I can't wait to see the next dyno plot.

When will you be making those for b34 heads to sell?
If your not thinking of building some for resale, can you try to think of it?

This guy used a 666 mani just like that on a stock m20.
Looks like it has a cam or something. You know how high rpm power completely dies on these engines normally.
I wonder if the m30 is more restrictive then the m20 though.

Should be an improvement over a stock manifold, guess we will have to see. As far as making more of them, I would wait to see the results.
Had to reconfigure the thermostat housing to make it fit. Engine bay is filthy from sitting so long.

Those short runner manifolds are something else. I always wanted to try one but never made the step.
Assuming that dyno is an M20B25 with the short runner manifold, its missing a lot of midrange. The stock manifold is good for that, but sometimes you get a little more peak cylinder pressure than it can handle. Mine was making 380 rwtq from 4000 past 5000 RPM, with peak power of 384 rwhp at around 6400. I don't know if the short runner manifold at the same boost pressure would have made the car faster or not.

Good Shit Otis
Always great to see your improvements. Remember when I first saw you putting in work with that m10 and didn't do any real welding or anything. Now look at you.
Good show bro

I have only one question. 5 1/2+ years later, are you really still a noob?
Looks great, Otis, I hope it performs to your expectations.
