FS: The entire 3 car project fleet - SoCal

Post by John McA »

Greetings:
Edited, again. And, again:
87 528e auto 105k - Bronzit, have working transmission zf4 or could be manual candidate, have m20 bellhousing for Getrag 265, new radiator, new pedal bracket. Seats need cable adjustment. Has a new FYG front windshield. Crack free dash, AC works. Original stereo, Perfect body. A cream puff. With a replacement auto, light recommissioning and detailing would be a garage queen.
87 535is 240k. - Red, running (new fuel pumps, filter). Lowered, big brakes, bilstiens, big Ireland sway bars, short shift 5sp, titanium drive-train fasteners including half shafts, flywheel bolts, lug bolts ect, LSD and, rust. Working new AC. Will likely have have it registered, smogged before March.
85 535i 168k Bronzit, head gasket, not running, parts car, LSD, Getrag G265 with the removable belllhousing? busted rear windshield (same event as the 528e) and c pillar damaged. stuffed with parts.
76 2002 Sold
67 1600 Sold
And: Parts, Parts, Parts, All Wheels, sold

It has become time to throw in the towel on my projects:
Would like to sell to a qualified good home.
33k seems reasonable. Not interested in parting out, separating.
Comments appreciated.
Have to look around - will add to this post later... maybe start a spreadsheet and put some numbers together and research a bit - so the price may be somewhat fluid at this point.
Good luck,
John McA

Can you post a breakdown per each car?
Or is it an all or nothing sale?

Bump. Update.
The 2002 and 1600 have a pending sale.
Not sure what should be the price of the 3 remaining cars.

Am moving fwd with transmission replacement and recommissioning of the 87 528e so, may adjust as necc.
New new glass looks great.

So you have three 828 different power trains one does not run with a lot of body damage and one of them is a TMU is that correct on all three or does it include the older coupes? Please advise thank you

Edited, revised my original post.
What is TMU ? Once while surveying a petroleum tank farm, over the radio some engineer mentioned his location as being adjacent to the 'BRT' and later in the day I asked what it meant. Big Round Thing. Ha!

Got it. True Mileage Unknown.
